1) The Armory Show

March 2–5 The exhibiting galleries compose the fair’s strongest list in years, with a premier selection of new exhibitors and two curated sections. A more spacious floor plan features wider aisles, larger booths and expanded public lounges. In an outstanding display of quality and curatorial precision, galleries will present their artists. Under the new leadership of Benjamin Genocchio the tradition of two separate fairs (modern & contemporary) will be combined for the first time this year. The fair’s diverse selection of galleries spans five continents and represents 30 countries: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Cuba, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Admission is $47. Thursday, March 2: 12–8pm Friday, March 3: 12–8pm Saturday, March 4: 12–7pm Sunday, March 5: 12–6pm.

2) ADAA 
Park Avenue Armory, Park Avenue at 67th Street, NYC
March 1–5: The Art Dealers Association of America show is always at home in the Park Armory. There are 72 galleries participating, David Zwirner will feature Chris Ofili and Petzel will feature Joyce Pensato. Admission is $25. Wednesday-Friday: 12 to 8pm, Saturday: 12 to 7pm, Sunday: 12 to 5pm

3) Independent New York
Spring Studios, 50 Varick Street, NYC
March 2–5: Again at Spring Studios (Tribeca), Independent features an edgy "Best of Europe" art exhibition with Peres Projects from Berlin and Carlos/Ishikawa from London. Tickets: $25 general/$15 student. Friday, March 3rd 12 – 7 pm, Saturday, March 4th 12 – 7 pm, Sunday, March 5th 12 – 6 pm

At Skylight Clarkson North, located at 572 Washington Street. March 2-5
NADA New York, joins Armory Week this year near the Holland Tunnel at Skylight Clarkson North in SoHo. There will be Kickstarter performances broadcast live on Know Wave, Internet radio. Tickets: $40 (four day pass) or $20 (one day). 50% of ticket sales will benefit the ACLU. “The diversity of New York is what makes it the city that it is, and the art capital that it is,” says Derosia, “and we’re better because of it...."

5) VOLTA NY
Pier 90, March 1-5
Next door to The Armory Show is it's affiliate satellite show, VOLTA NY, which spotlights solo artists, at Pier 90. VOLTA rounds out the Armory Show by featuring the "artists and their works". Free on March 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. Otherwise admission: $20. Armory Show Hours.

6) Scope
Metropolitan Pavilion, March 2-5
At the Metropolitan Pavilion this year, with 60+ international galleries. Also celebrating 16 years of its "Breeder Program", introducing emerging galleries. Thursday's VIP Tickets: $150 & $100. 7) Art on Paper
Pier 36 , March 2-5
Art on Paper features drawings to site-specific installations. Pier 36 is on the East Side, in downtown Manhattan. Tickets: $25. Friday, March 3, 11:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday, March 4, 11:00am to 7:00pm, Sunday, March 5, 12:00pm to 6:00pm (299 South St, NYC 10002, East Side, between The Manhattan & Williamsburg Bridges) 

8) Clio Art Fair
508 West 26th Street in Manhattan, March 2-5
Clio Art Fair is for artists without gallery representation. Thursday, Reception $90 Admission is Free! Friday - Saturday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, Sunday Noon - 06:00 pm.

9) Moving Image New York
NOTE DATES: February 27-March 2
Present video and video-related work. Free at the Tunnel Building, at 11th Avenue, between West 27th and 28th Street. 11am – 8pm, last day closes 4pm.

10) The Asia Art Fair New York
Manhattan Art & Antiques Center, March 10-18
Asian contemporary art and antiques. A special exhibition titled “Game of Gods, Game of Love,” will feature mythological paintings and sculpture from India and Persia. At the Manhattan Art & Antiques Center. Admission: Free. Monday – Saturday, 10:30am – 6pm and Sunday, 12pm – 6pm.

11) Salon Zürcher New York
Salon Zürcher gallery, February 27–March 5
Six international galleries in their NoHo gallery space. Other galleries are from Paris, Oslo, Brussels, Hangzhou, and Provincetown, Mass. Salon Zürcher gallery is located at 33 Bleecker Street in Manhattan. Admission is Free.

12) SPRING/BREAK Art Show
4 Times Square. March 1–6 The youthful SPRING/BREAK Art Show continues to challenge the traditional art market. 150 curators and over 400 artists have taken on the theme “BLACK MIRROR.” Entrance to the fair, is at Times Square and West 43rd Street. Admission: $15. Hours: 11 'til 6pm daily.
